Pool floats can be EXPENSIVE! After crusting around Amazon and being shocked at the cost I made my own pool hammock with fabric mesh and a pool noodle. Quick project that saved me some cash! The instructions are easy to follow!
By July plants are beginning to produce! We've been watching the race between the cherry tomatoes & cucumbers on our trellis. Eating from the garden is the reward for the work of planting. Waiting anxiously for the beets, peppers, carrots & tomatoes to be ready! Love my square foot gardens!
Sometimes you get to step out of your "normal" place in life. Getaways are like that.
No urgent responsibilities, no running kids around, no regular routine. It's lovely.
Despite all these challenges it is great to just hang out with my hubby. It is SO important to getaway from all the responsibilities and activities once in a while.
One of our goals for the summer is to have more of our friends over to play and visit.
We’ve missed doing that for the last couple of years and we are trying to get back in the swing of things. When you get out of the habit it takes some deliberate effort to start inviting people over.
