Homeschool endings are really beginnings

6 years ago we graduated our first from our homeschool. It was so challenging.  I learned more about myself in those years than any other in my life.

So the though of him not being part of our daily life was heart breaking for me.  He was headed across town to college in the fall.  I seriously felt like my world was ending and it just would never be the same.

What to do when you are WAY behind in your homeschool

February.  One of those LONG months of being inside and doing school.

I don’t like February.  Or January for that matter.  But this year I’m looking at the calendar and feeling seriously overwhelmed and guilty.

School has been on the back burner since surgery in December

5 goals for my 13 year old young man

I look at this little guy and wonder where he went.  My youngest Joshua turned into a teenager this year.  While that is hard to believe he's a teen, I can see that there are things we need to work on and that means setting some goals for growth

Before I know it he will be a young man leaving home for college or a job.  The next 4 years I know it is VERY important that I focus on the skills and knowledge that I want him to have before he leaves home.
