6 years ago we graduated our first from our homeschool. It was so challenging. I learned more about myself in those years than any other in my life.
So the though of him not being part of our daily life was heart breaking for me. He was headed across town to college in the fall. I seriously felt like my world was ending and it just would never be the same.
I love my front porch. It welcomes me home every time I am away.
I retreat there in the middle of the day when I need to just sit outside and enjoy some fresh air.

I just finished giving away over 200 strawberry plants. Seriously.
Last year we planted 2 raised beds for strawberries in our “berry patch.” We put around 25 plants in each bed. Then we pretty much ignored them all summer and fall.
This is not your “normal” Mother’s Day post. It's probably closer to an "in your face" challenge rather than a sweet encouraging post about how to love on your mom. PLEASE don’t get me wrong. Mom’s are AWESOME! I am one after all.
