Seasonal Table Displays

The table is the heart of the home. We gather in the dining room or the living room around tables. Tap into your creativity and unique taste each season to make your tables look amazing!! It doesn’t have to be difficult.

Dining room table seasonal display

You can have endless variety on your dining room table by using a basic container, like a basket or box. Just change it up each season. Start by putting in some basic greenery! Then put in small floral pieces that are seasonal. You can easily change them out when the seasons shift! At the same time if you use a table cloth you can change out the color to match your display.

Coffee table seasonal decor

One really easy way to decorate is to put a basic candle wreath display on your coffee table and make it seasonal by changing out the scent of your candle. If you like the look of this Lamb’s Ear Candle wreath you can make it with this tutorial!

Seasonal front door decor

Greet your family and friends with a seasonal door hangers or sign. Let’s look at both ways to have a seasonal front door.

Seasonal door hangers are available in a WIDE variety! They are available at both local craft stores and on Etsy! The only limitation is your budget and storage space! My friend Michelle over at Ms. Artsy Fartsy makes some great holiday and everyday hangers! Go check her out!

Wreaths

Seasonal wreaths are probably the most traditional type of seasonal decor. And quite possibly the easiest. Your local craft store will carry wreaths for each season! OR you can find beautiful ones on Etsy as well.

But if you are a DIY kind of person like me just get a wreath form and make your own! Creating your own style is fun! This wood bead wreath is on my list to make soon!

Pillows

Are you a pillow person? How many do you have on your couch?? Or your bed? There are some REALLY cute pillows available for each season! The most economical way is to buy nice pillow forms to use. You can change out the cases for each season. Amazon has a TON of cute ones for every season and budget!

Wooden Words

It has become trendy to display words like Thankful, Blessed, etc. in our homes. While words are not seasonal they can be used seasonally. We all think about being thankful during November and blessed in December. How about using Growth in the spring? Or Gather in the summer when you are having people over for cookouts? The words that you use will be ones that fit you and your family!

Porch Leaners

One place that is fun to have interchangeable holiday decor is on your front porch or by your front door! Home or Welcome porch leaners can easily be double-sided! Another way to change porch leaners out seasonally is to use one that has seasonal pieces for the O. You can purchase one of these over at Blue Daisy Dreamer which where I provide unique, home decor to help you make your home exactly what you want it to be!

Another idea is to have a seasonal sign that has interchangeable pieces! If you love gnomes, there are seasonal gnome front door signs. Do you love the old-fashioned red trucks? I have a seasonal red truck door hanger kit available! ! There are kits to make your own or you can find ones that are already painted if you are not the crafty type!

Farmhouse Trucks

Speaking of red trucks, they are a wonderful way to have a mantel seasonal display. This basic truck is great because you can fill the bed of the truck with small items that change seasonally! There are so many places that you can tuck a little truck so having a couple of different ones (if you love trucks) in various places in your home works well. This type of home decor is perfect when empty for between seasons or if you are a minimalist then it looks good empty too!

Tiered Trays

Have you seen all the different types of tiered trays out there lately? There are a ton! Also available are tiered tray displays that reflect each season, holiday and more! The tiny aspect of this type of seasonal home decor really appeals to me and I think it would be great for an apartment or vacation home! Another idea is to have a more basic display that stays up longer but you have monthly decor that you add to the basic pieces. The beauty is that you can always add a piece if you find one that suits your season or holiday! I admit this is an addiction of mine. No two displays looks the same!

Block signs

This could fall under the Wooden Words idea but it is a type of home decor that is displayed on a table, shelf or mantle. The wooden words are more often hung so block signs get their own section. These are often double-sided so you can use them for 2 more seasons which means more bang for your buck! Check out this spring / summer reversible block set! So cute!

Honestly decorating my home has been evolving my whole life. It is often not my strong suit but by picking a few of these ideas I can intentionally make our home more welcoming.
