Time for creativity every day makes me SO happy. It is week 3 of #the100dayproject. This week was all over the board. Rug making, vinyl projects, crocheting projects!
Sometimes my projects are gifts and sometimes they are for a post on the blog.
But often they are just for my sanity. Who else does crafts to keep yourself from going crazy? It's my daily self-care. Even if it is only for 15 minutes--it works.
Are you on the hunt for a great teacher appreciation gift? Teacher Appreciation Day is May 8th!!!! So don’t wait too long to make these Pencil Holders for each of your child’s teachers.
Not interested in making these yourself?
The be sure you check out my Etsy page because you can order them from me! Blue Daisy Dreamer is my handmade craft design business so that is the name on my Etsy page.
When I started this project I thought I might be sabotaging myself. New projects are my specialty but so are unfinished projects. Can I get an amen? I know I'm not alone on this. That is why I chose my project to be unfinished projects and not something new. Sadly my father has been in the ICU for over 3 weeks and this past week he graduated to heaven. So my creativity is taking a small break to concentrate on more important things. I will be back in a few days. Actually crafting is a great outlet and distraction for grief.
Do you have a TON of creativity but not a lot of time to spend on actually BEING creative? Creative projects are a bit of an addiction for me and I want to spend time on all of the ones I've started but there always SO many other pressing things to do on my list. That’s why I was so excited to run across The 100 Day Project last week. I jumped in with both feet this week and I want to share my progress and invite you to join me!
A little over 2 weeks ago my life did a 90 degree turn. My dad had a car wreck and that put him on the path to being in the ICU for 14 days(so far). This is not the first time I’ve see life turn on a dime. I knew it was happening as I watched the events unfold. Have you had those moments? I pray that you never spend hours in the hospital waiting room or have to pack a bag to keep you busy while you wait in an ER but if you do I hope that this list gives you some ideas on what to take.
