A while ago a follower on the Day to Day Adventures Facebook page asked if I had a sugar free BBQ sauce that I used. Sadly I had to tell her no. So I went to work converting that old recipe to work for our new way of low glycemic eating.
We used to eat a wonderful recipe that was part of my freezer cooking list. Sadly it had more sugar in it than I like to feed my peeps now!
Our family really loves the 4th of July holiday. We shoot off fireworks and have friends and family over for a meal together. It is one of the best parts of summer.
This year will be no different!
We don’t do a lot of decorating but I like to change the front door wreath to match the season.
So when I saw a 4th of July wreath last week on Facebook I knew I wanted to make one with my friends when we ran away for a recharge weekend.
This easy wreath took less than 30 minutes to make. I love it!
Life is messy. We fall apart and need help.
Life is amazing. We want to share our joy and celebrate our surviving our adventures.
This post is NOT about neglecting your husband or ignoring that friendship. But there is just something about having a circle of women friends that you know will have your back in all situations.
I’m pretty much a stay at home kind of girl.
There is so much to do at home that most weeks I resist even going to town. But in my 25 years of being a mom I've learned that it is SUPER important to take the opportunities and adventures that come your way. Mom's need to getaway and recharge their batteries too!
Summer seems to be the time we always talk about what we want to do as a family and get it written down.
Many of the items on our wishlist happen in the summer but there are some that are done well after August. I like making it official by having a cute printable.
